Getting There
SSI-3 will be held at the Marriott Springhill Suites at the Auraria Campus on April 5, 2019. Marriott Springhill Suites Auraria is located at 1190 Auraria Pkwy, Denver, Co 80204, off of Speer Boulevard near the Pepsi center. Complimentary wifi is available.
Envision Training and the City We Want Coalition Meeting on Saturday, April 6th will be held at University of Colorado Denver, located at 1250 14th St, Denver, CO 80202.

Envision training will be held in Room 3301 (300W) on the 3rd floor, to the left as you leave the elevators and then left again around the first corner.

The City We Want Coalition meeting will be held in Room 2005 on the 2nd floor, to the left as you exist the elevators.

Letter from the Organizers
We are thrilled to present the Symposium for Sustainable Infrastructure - 3 (SSI-3) at the University of Colorado at Denver, in partnership with the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Public Works Association, and the American Planning Association. Last year, nearly 200 professionals, students, and government officials gathered to explore how to engineer a more sustainable Rocky Mountain region.

This year, we are thinking visionary! With a title “the cities we have/the cities we want,” our program consists of a series of sessions that address how cities have evolved through the work of engineers and planners. We begin by understanding existing paradigms in the cities we have; we finish with discussing a path forward for engineering and planning to achieve the cities we want. We have a tremendous lineup of speakers at SSI-3 and will present these topics in an “ignite” and panel format. All attendees will be able to take part in all sessions – the sessions are consecutive and not concurrent.

We expect to bring over 200 attendees together for two full days of learning and networking. The second day is devoted to Envision training that empowers participants to assess sustainability projects. Join us for SSI-3 and take the opportunity to interface with some of the brightest minds in academia, engineering, planning, and policy. We hope to see you in downtown Denver in April!
